Register A Vulnerable Person

Vulnerable Persons

The Vulnerable Persons Registry (VPR) helps the Kennebecasis Regional Police Force respond quickly and effectively during incidents involving vulnerable community members in Quispamsis and Rothesay. The registry allows caregivers to provide important information about a vulnerable person to assist police in an emergency.

Who Is Considered a Vulnerable Person?

A vulnerable person is someone who, due to a medical, cognitive, mental health or physical condition, may behave in ways that could put themselves or others at risk.

Examples include:

  • Alzheimer’s or dementia
  • Autism Spectrum Disorder
  • Acquired brain injury
  • Developmental or cognitive disabilities
