Patrol Services

The Patrol Section is comprised of uniformed police officers who serve as the frontline, first responders for the Kennebecasis Valley, providing 24/7 emergency and non-emergency service to the community. Patrol officers are trained to respond to a wide range of calls for service and to assess situations dynamically, engaging specialized internal resources and external partners when required.

Day-to-day operations carried out by Patrol include initial and ongoing criminal investigations, proactive traffic enforcement, problem-oriented policing, and community engagement activities. Officers conduct visible, active patrols across all neighbourhoods, day and night, with a focus on crime prevention, early intervention, and public safety.

From responding to critical incidents and emergency calls to participating in school visits and community events, Patrol officers form the backbone of the organization and play a vital role in maintaining public trust, safety, and confidence in policing.
